07 February 2007 update

Please pray with us:
  • for wisdom as we look to where to invest our "extra" time in ministry.
  • for Kendra's and Keilah's continuing transition to Ecuador.
  • for the process of completing the registration of Kyle here in Ecuador to go well.
  • that we can find good fellowship and support in Ecuador as we have found in the U.S.A. this past year.
  • that God continues to help the funding we need come in as we are in Ecuador.
  • that God would help those who have promised to donate to come through.

  • that Keilah and Kendra are doing better in the transition to Quito. (Answer!)
  • for the good time at the family get together this past Saturday.

18 January 2007 Update

Please pray with us:
  • for Pauli's health (She has a cold or something right now--or it could be a reaction to the altitude and pollution here).
  • for Kendra's transition to go well. (She has seemed overwhelmed with the change sometimes and reacts badly or hides.)
  • for the process of completing the registration of Kyle here in Ecuador to go well.
  • that we can find good fellowship and support in Ecuador as we have found in the U.S.A. this past year.
  • that God continues to help the funding we need come in as we are in Ecuador.
Please praise God with us:
  • that Keilah has been transitioning back to Quito fairly well. (Answer!)
  • for our flight to Quito with our kids, carry-on suitcases, car seats, luggage, etc. All suitcases arrived (some worse for the wear, but intact)! (Answer!)
  • that Steve's visa to Ecuador was still valid. (Answer!)
  • For the 15 financial team members who have been with us the last 5 1/2 years.
  • For the seven new financial team members that have joined us so far this year.

  • for us as we fly back to Quito with our kids, carry-on suitcases, car seats, luggage, etc. That God would provide grace as we try to manage all this on and off the airplanes.
  • for our transition back to Ecuador to go smoothly.
  • that our health can hold up as we transition back to Ecuador.
  • that we can find good fellowship and support in Ecuador as we have found in the U.S.A. this past year.
  • that God continues to help the funding we need come in as we are in Ecuador.

  • for the relatively painless process of receiving the papers for the registration of Kyle with the Ecuadorian consulate. (Answer!)
  • that we have our bags packed and ready to go. (Answer!)

  • for no problems to appear on the third of January as we register Kyle at the Ecuadorian consulate.
  • for our transition back to Ecuador to go smoothly.

  • that we can have everything ready as we prepare to leave--including the funding, packing of our things, etc.

  • that we can have everything ready as we prepare to leave--including the funding, passports, baby's registration in the Ecuadorian consulate, packing of our things, etc.
